INDIRECT SPEECH

 

Indirect Speech: Is the way the speaker and the listener has a question form to express a request or objective to achieve a purpose. 

 

EXAMPLE: Can you borrow money? 

 

Often the listener is not easy to respond immediately to such questions but it will always be a wait for a response depending of the situation can often be immediate or may not be the answer immediately.
